This is a presentation copy that was given to Polykarp Kusch, winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics 1955 "for his precision determination of the magnetic moment of the electron". There is a personal inscription to Dr. Kusch "with compliments of the Nobel Foundation", dated 10.12.1955. It is also signed on the endpapers by Dr. Kusch, labeled Nobel Prize - Physics, 1955. Size: 8mo - over 7 3/4" - 9 3/4" tall. 620 pp. Pages are yellowed, but are tight and clean. Very minor water damage to the back cover and along the very top of the last 10 pages or so.
